Relief Printmaking Classes
Learn the bold, hands-on art of relief printmaking with artist Harry Mayer at the Medford Arts Center.
In this beginner-friendly class, students learn how to transfer an image, carve a linoleum block, ink the surface, and pull original hand-made prints. No prior printmaking experience is needed.
Relief printing is direct, physical, and wonderfully surprising. Students will explore line, shape, contrast, texture, and the important idea that the printed image reverses during the printing process.
Classes are held through the Medford Arts Center, a community arts organization offering classes and programs for artists of all levels.
